Hard water is one that is obtained from wells or certain tributaries, whose main characteristic is the existence of a large percentage of magnesium and calcium, two minerals which are positively charged ions. Researchers at the University of Helsinki and Helsinki University Central Hospital, in cooperation with Biohit Oyj, have developed a new method that helps reduce the risk of cancer caused by acetaldehyde in a juice with no stomach acid .
