Biogen Idec Names Michael Lytton's executive vice president of business development

Biogen Idec has been appointed executive vice president of the department of corporate business development and Michael E. Lytton. In this new position, Lytton will be responsible for leading business development activities of the company.

"Michael brings his vast experience of over 25 years in business development, legal and investment in the biotechnology industry," said Hans Peter Hasler, director of operations of Biogen Idec. "His experience in mergers and acquisitions, as well as their domain knowledge to identify and turn promising scientific projects in large companies make him the ideal candidate to carry out our r" cord business development highly disciplined and productive.
