BAMSJOB DESCRIPTION: Will be a technical member of the BAMS Metallic Fuselage and Mechanical Subsystems IPT. Position requires experience in Structural Analysis methods and documentation, detailed analysis procedures, FEM analysis, NASTRAN, PATRAN and complex models of metallic and composite aircraft structures.
Responsible for all types of structural parts as well as assembly analysis associated with installation of these parts.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a strong backround in classical aerospace structural analysis and excellent knowledge in structure analysis tools and methods. Must possess excellent communication, presentation, writing, leadership and people skills. This position requires a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and minimum 9 years related experience. Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance required.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates with prior military aircraft analysis experience is preferred. Candidates with a secret clearance are preferred. Desired skills include familiarity with layout sizing, structural integrity evaluations and static and dynamic load development. Experience required in aircraft design durability, damage tolerance of aircraft structures, material allowables development, acoustic/dynamic evaluations, fatigue and survivability, aircraft structural integrity programs and full scale static and fatigue article testing.SEARCH STRING EXAMPLE: Structural Analysis Relocation Assistance Available.
