This position is for a Research Chemical Engineer within the Plant Operations Process Technology group. You will be responsible for planning and executing experiments, and then reporting results in support of innovative process development within Plant Operations. This position involves utilizing lab scale/pilot plant methodology to scale up processes to meet business unit's needs. The work is mainly in our Savage, MN facilities, but this engineer could spend some time working at a Cargill manufacturing plant in the US or abroad.

About the Position: Positions are located in various Directorates within the Huntsville Center. Projects range in complexity and size. Designated projects typically involve many varied complex features concerning the coordination and management of functional, technical, and administrative project aspects and leading project delivery teams (PDTs). Examples of projects include, but are not limited to: design build and design bid build construction and renovation projects (including Medical Facilities), facilities equipment and furniture purchases, range and training land upgrades, ordnance/environmental clean up actions, and remedial investigations.
