The Extrusion Process

Thermoplastics are manufactured using the extruder, a machine that processes these materials. The raw material in the form of small grains is introduced through a funnel into a heated barrel where a screw thread cylinder transports along the tube.

The material is melting, so it takes up less space, and goes out at one end. Then, the manufacture of plastic is completed by two processes: extrusion combined with blowing and injection molding pressure.
